Epic Studios / Epic EV Studios

Epic EV Studios is one of JJR’s businesses. Epic’s story brings together the broadcast heritage of Norwich’s former Anglia studios with production and live-event activity. Epic’s published history

Extreme Video, wholly owned by Jonathan at the time described in Epic’s history, acquired the studios in 2012. The 2012 acquisition

For Jonathan, the 2012 purchase combined a long-held ambition to run a television studio with a plan to develop a Norwich media hub. In his 2016 interview, he describes a family effort spanning camera work, editing, live music and events, with the business learning and changing as it grew. Why Epic · 0:00–2:49

The original television-led plan evolved as the market changed. By his 2025 interview, Jonathan described live entertainment and corporate events as important parts of making the space work throughout the week. Adapting Epic · 13:49–16:11

We welcome discussions about production partnerships, business development and a separate naming-rights sponsorship.
